PREP INSTRUCTIONS

You will get much better results when you properly prep. It all starts with a good canvas! Your skin must be healthy, strong, non-sensitive and non-irritated.
Here’s how to get your skin ready for the procedure.

-Do not pick/tweeze/wax/perform electrolysis one week before procedure

-Do not tan two weeks prior or have sunburned face

-Do not have any type of facial/peel 2 weeks prior to treatment

-Discontinue Vitamin A/Retinol products one month prior to treatment

-Do not work out the day of the procedure

-Do not have Botox 3 weeks prior

-Do not take Fish Oil or Vitamin E one week prior, as it can thin your blood

-Do not wax or tint your eyebrows 7 days before the procedure.

In order to avoid excessive bleeding and poor color deposit:

-Do not drink alcohol 48 hours before your tattoo, as it can thin your blood

-Do not consume coffee before your procedure, as it can thin your blood

-Do not take an aspirin or ibuprofen for pain relief, as it can thin your blood

Please let us know PRIOR to your appointment if you answer YES to any of these questions:

-History of cold sores (important to know before Lip Micropigmentation)

-History of MRSA

-Botox (Last treatment?)

-Diabetes

-Epilepsy

-Diabetes

-Allergies Moles or freckles at site of tattoo

-Hepatitis A B C D

-Forehead/Brow Lift

-Bleeding easily/Hemophilia

-Facelift

-Alcoholism

-Abnormal Heart Condition

-Take medication before dental work

-Chemical Peel (Last Treatment?)

-Pregnant now/Breastfeeding now

-Brow Lash Tinting

-Autoimmune disorder

-Oily Skin

-Accutane or acne treatment

-Chemotherapy/ Radiation/history of Cancer

-Tan by booth or salon

-Tumors/ Growth/ Cysts

-Difficulty numbing with dental work

-Taking blood thinners, such as: Aspirin, Ibuprofen, Alcohol, Coumadin, etc.

-Allergic reaction to any medications such as Lidocaine, Tetracaine, Epinephrine, Dermacaine,

Benzyl Alcohol, Carbopol, Lecithin, Propylene Glycol, Vitamin E Acetate, etc.

-Allergies to metals, food, etc

-Any diseases or disorders not listed

-Do you use skin care products containing Retin-A, Glycolic/Lactic Acid, or Alpha Hydroxy

-History of OCD or a compulsion to pick at scabs and/or pluck hairs

IT IS OF THE UTMOST IMPORTANCE THAT YOU DO NOT THIN YOUR BLOOD PRIOR TO MICROBLADING.

Blood that is thinner bleeds more thereby diluting and expelling the pigment. You are also more likely to

scab which can pull out the remainder of the pigment.

Please arrive at your appointment 15 minutes early to go over paperwork. Wear your makeup as you

normally would. Please refrain from bringing anyone with you to your appointment.
